Shantou Home to Cigarette Packaging & Printing Technology R&D Center
Recently, a China Packaging Federation review validated the building of the China Cigarette Packaging-Printing Technology R&D Center within China Shantou ZLPress. The move makes the region home to third packaging decoration printing industry base, after Wenzhou and the Pearl River Delta.
The packaging and printing industry in Shantou is amongst the leading trades at prefecture-level municipalities, not only in the province, but across China as a whole, in terms of modernity of equipment, scale and quality of product. In 2011, the Shantou packaging and printing industry achieved an output value of RMB 14.6 billion (USD 2.3 billion), up 13.9% from 2010.
